Neuallermöhe

The district Neuallermöhe

Neuallermöhe - living by the water

Neuallermöhe is a relatively young district of the Hanseatic city of Hamburg and is located in the southeast of the city, in the Bergedorf borough.

Between 1982 and 1994 around 3800 residential units were built completely from scratch on an area of 123 hectares under the motto "Living by the water": The Neuallermöhe-Ost district was created on a green field.

The district is characterised by the canals that run through it in many places and the buildings with low eaves height: multi-family houses with a maximum of four floors, terraced, semi-detached and single houses.

Within the district it is possible to move almost completely without crossing streets only on foot and bike paths, for example on the way to the "S-Bahn" (local trains), which connects to the Hamburg city center every 10 minutes with the S21 / S2 line (18 minutes) and to Bergedorf (2 minutes).

Neuallermöhe-Ost und der benachbarte Stadtteil Neuallermöhe-West haben gemeinsam das niedrigste Durchschnittsalter aller Hamburger Stadtteile.
